For the first time, the YMCA of Greenwich is sponsoring the Greenwich Road Runners’ annual Holiday Fun Run at Tod’s Point on Sunday, December 3, 2023.
Race proceeds will go to the Greenwich YMCA for health, fitness and education programs.
The Holiday 1 Mile Fun Run begins at 10:00am and will cost $15 for entry.
The Holiday 5K Fun Run begins at 10:30am and will cost $35 for entry.
Celebrate the holidays, get a good run in, and support a good cause. Proceeds from the event will go toward supporting the YMCA of Greenwich’s commitment to providing affordable youth, family, and senior programming that serves diverse needs and fosters personal growth for all.
Embrace the holiday spirit and layer up in your favorite Santa outfit, ugly sweater, or holiday-themed gear. There will be “holiday spirit” and awards and prizes waiting for the most spirited runners.
There will also be a chance to win 2 tickets to the Greenwich Town Party in the Race Day Raffle.
The event starts near the flag pole across from the main concession at Greenwich Point/Tod’s Point. The level 5K course loops around Greenwich Point with spectacular ever-present Long Island Sound views and crisp fresh air.
