The Parks & Rec Dept announced on Thursday that due to a lifeguard shortage, over Labor Day weekend there will be minimal lifeguard supervision at all town beaches.
Greenwich Point
- There will be no lifeguard supervision.
- The first aid station will be manned.
Island Beach
- The main beach area at Island beach will have lifeguard supervision.
- The little beach will have no lifeguard supervision.
- The first aid station will be manned.
Byram Beach
- There will be no lifeguard supervision.
- The first aid station will be manned.
Great Captain Island
There will be no lifeguard supervision.
The first aid station will be manned on Saturday and Sunday only.
