Labor Day: Parks & Rec Announces Changes in Lifeguards on Duty at Greenwich Beaches

lifeguard flagsThe Parks & Rec Dept announced on Thursday that due to a lifeguard shortage, over Labor Day weekend there will be minimal lifeguard supervision at all town beaches.

Greenwich Point

  • There will be no lifeguard supervision.
  • The first aid station will be manned.

Island Beach

  • The main beach area at Island beach will have lifeguard supervision.
  • The little beach will have no lifeguard supervision.
  • The first aid station will be manned.

Byram Beach

  • There will be no lifeguard supervision.
  • The first aid station will be manned.

Great Captain Island

There will be no lifeguard supervision.

The first aid station will be manned on Saturday and Sunday only.
