Greenwich Chamber of Commerce Announces its Annual Holiday Decorating Contest

The Greenwich Chamber of Commerce announces its annual holiday decorating contest for town businesses.

The contest is open to all local businesses with a storefront and is not limited to Chamber members.

Businesses are encouraged to decorate their storefronts in the spirit of the holidays and will be eligible to win a prize and special recognition for their efforts.

There will be three winners this years: 1) Greenwich Avenue, including stores on Church Street and connecting side streets; 2) all stores west of Greenwich Avenue including Cos Cob, Riverside and Old Greenwich and, 3) all stores west of Greenwich Avenue.

The judging begins on Saturday, December 1 and will run through Monday, December 3.   Winners will be announced on Wednesday, December 4th at the Chamber’s Holiday Party and Storefront Decorating Awards event which will be held at Bulthaus (former Federalist building), 95 East Putnam Avenue from 5:30 – 7:00pm.

This party is open to members and non-members.  The public is welcome to register online at www.greenwichchamber.com.  RSVP is required; no walk-ins.

This year we ask the public to communicate their choices on our Facebook page (@GreenwichCTChamber) or on our Instagram account (@greenwichchamber).  Pictures are welcome.

Prizes to winners include free advertising on the Chamber’s website or a free Chamber membership, a professional photo and special recognition at the Chamber’s well attended holiday party.
