On Nov 20 around 4:00pm Greenwich Police received a report of a hit and run accident in the area of Josephine Evaristo Ave in Chickahominy.
Officers located a vehicle matching the reporting party’s description and determined the driver was Marco Junqueira, 54, of 284 Locust AVe in Port Chester, NY.
Police determined that Junqueira had struck two separate vehicles before leaving the accident scene. When questioned on scene Mr. Junqueira was unsteady on his feet, slurring his words and failed to perform field sobriety tests to standard.
He was charged with two counts of Evading Responsibility, DUI, Failure to Drive in Proper Lane, Improper Turns Signal and Operating without a License.
Junqueira was able to post his $250 bond and has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Dec 5, 2018.
