Police Catch up With Woman Wanted for Credit Card Fraud

On Nov 21 Greenwich Police traveled to Bridgeport to pick up a suspect with an active arrest warrant for multiple charges stemming back to December 2017.

Police say the suspect, Shontaye S Williams, 25, of James Street in Bridgeport, is accused of using another person’s credit card information to make fraudulent purchases in Oct and Nov 2017. The total charges exceeded $500.

She charged with Criminal Attempt Larceny 3, Larceny 5, Greater than $500 on a Revoked Credit Card, Receipt from Illegal Use of Credit Card, and Identity Theft 3.

Ms. Williams bond was set at $25,000 which she was able to post. She has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Dec 5, 2018.
