Greenwich Green & Clean is still accepting nominations for its Beautification Awards.
Town residents, businesses and community organizations who have created attractive horticultural or environmental improvements to the town are eligible.
Floral or native plantings, streetscape and landscaping projects which enhance the property must be visible to the public.
The community is welcome to submit candidates for awards by sending pictures, taken in any season, along with the location and a brief description, to [email protected].
The deadline for nominations is September 15.
Award winners will be recognized on Thursday, October 15 at Sam Bridge Nursery and Greenhouses on North Street, with a festive, early evening cocktail reception. The event continues Greenwich Green & Clean’s 40th anniversary celebration, and all are invited to participate.
