Greenwich Audubon Center Announces March Pollinator Potluck Speaker Event

Greenwich Audubon Center’s March Pollinator Potluck speaker event is set for Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 6:00 to 7:30pm.

Kevin Webb, Co-Founder of Superorganism, will explore how public and private funding can support nature-based solutions and how individuals and communities can help move this work forward on both the investment and policy fronts. Superorganism is the first venture capital firm dedicated to biodiversity-positive investments.

Mr. Webb will be joined by Audubon Connecticut Director of Policy, Robert LaFrance, who will share how Audubon is advancing its Flight Plan through nature-based and natural climate solutions. Robert will discuss a major policy milestone achieved last year, ongoing work in Connecticut to develop a report highlighting best practices for advancing natural climate solutions, and the critical co-benefits these approaches provide for biodiversity.

Kevin Webb is the co-founder of and managing director of Superorganism, the first VC firm dedicated to biodiversity. An early-stage VC for over 15 years, Kevin previously helped found and run the Webb Investment Network, where he identified unicorn companies like Verkada, Turo, and Ironclad. Kevin graduated from Stanford with a degree in Human Biology (Humans, a Changing Environment, and Infectious Disease), and Columbia with an MS in Sustainability Science. He has spoken at AMNH, the Smithsonian, Bloom, and the North American Congress of Conservation Biology.

Potluck food and hors d’oeuvres will be provided by Happiness Is Back Country Market along with organic wine from The Study Fine Wines.

Bringing a dish to share is optional but if you do, please include a notecard listing ingredients.

Bite size sharables are preferred as the center has limited capacity to provide utensils.
