Salvation Army to Sponsor Greenwich’s Annual Employee and Resident Food Drive, July 7

town hall w:blueskyFor the eleventh year, the Greenwich Service Unit of the Salvation Army is once again sponsoring their annual Town employee and resident food drive, which benefits Neighbor to Neighbor and the Greenwich Department of Social Services’ emergency food pantries.

The drive is taking place on Thursday, July 7 in the Town Hall meeting room in Town Hall from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Requests for assistance, especially during the summer months, remain high!

The most needed items are cereal, Parmalat, canned fruit, healthy snacks, canned tuna, peanut butter, jelly, juice boxes, milk boxes (unrefrigerated), nutrition bars. Also needed: pasta/tomato sauce, canned soup, canned corn.

Please help fill the pantries at a time of year when supplies are low.
