To date, Neighbor to Neighbor and Project DASH have powered 8000 deliveries to Greenwich residents. Since 2022, Neighbor to Neighbor has implemented home delivery services with DoorDash to enable consistent and reliable access to nutritious food. NTN utilizes home delivery on a weekly basis to distribute food to over 130 Greenwich households.

Additionally, Neighbor to Neighbor extends gratitude to the Greenwich Department of Human Services for their support and collaboration of the home delivery program, specifically for individuals with disabilities, as this initiative would not have been possible without their assistance.

“Neighbor to Neighbor is proud to announce this tremendous milestone. Our partnership with DoorDash has allowed us to get food in the hands of our neighbors in need who cannot visit our facility each week. Home delivery is crucial for breaking down barriers and ending food insecurity,” said K. Brent Hill, Neighbor to Neighbor Executive Director.

“We’re proud of the work our Project DASH partners do to serve the people experiencing food insecurity in the Greenwich community,” said Daniel Riff, Head of DoorDash Drive Government and Nonprofit. “This incredible milestone is the result of the efforts of local partners like Neighbor to Neighbor, who work to broaden food access and partner with Project DASH to break down barriers and serve vulnerable populations in an essential way.”

Neighbor to Neighbor is a nonprofit organization that aims to improve the lives of Greenwich residents by increasing access to food and basic living necessities.
