Neighbor to Neighbor and Point72 Partner to Provide Students with New School Supplies

Neighbor to Neighbor is partnering with Point72 Asset Management to provide new backpacks and school supplies to local students from kindergarten through high school.

As back-to-school season approaches this year, many parents are struggling to afford the basics for their children due to inflation and increased cost of living. Every student deserves to be adequately prepared to take on their academic responsibilities and able to engage equally alongside their peers.

For the past three years, Neighbor to Neighbor was able to provide new school supplies to Greenwich students thanks to generous businesses and individuals in our community. This year, we are excited to work with Point72 to ensure that Neighbor to Neighbor’s 500 school-age children get off to a fresh start with adequate supplies as they start the new school year.

Each student will receive a new backpack filled with supplies including pens, pencils, notebooks, folders, binders, and highlighters. “Neighbor to Neighbor is proud to be a partner of Point72 and a beneficiary of their philanthropic efforts in our community,” said Margaret Tjimos Goldberg, Neighbor to Neighbor Executive Director in a release.

Neighbor to Neighbor improves the lives of residents in need throughout the Greenwich area and strengthens our community by creating access to food, clothing, and basic living essentials in an atmosphere of kindness and respect. For more information visit
