Haiti-Nepal Charity Awareness Walk on Greenwich Ave Set for Oct. 24

Save the ChildrenIn 2010 a devastating 7.0 earthquake ravaged Haiti. This past April, Nepal was also ravaged by a 7.8 earthquake. These disasters have left two of the most vulnerable populations even more at risk of hunger, disease and homelessness. Devastating disasters like these take years to recover from.

The Foundation of Hope has partnered with Save The Children for 5-Month charity campaign in an effort to raise funds and awareness for the families and victims of these devastating natural disasters. The lives of these children are worth everyone’s best efforts for a story of hope, inspiration and charity.

“The Haiti-Nepal Charity Awareness Walk” will be held on Saturday, October 24th from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm on Greenwich Ave. All are welcome to participate! Participants are encouraged to register as teams.

Put on their running shoes and walk for a cause! For more information regarding go to the event page for the walk.

All proceeds go directly to Save The Children who have been serving the deprived areas of Haiti and Nepal for over 30 years.
