The program will utilize the YMCA’s warm water historic pool to introduce fundamental water skills, stroke development with waterside safety and prevention skills for caregivers.

As a leading nonprofit committed to youth development, the YMCA of Greenwich has provided swim lessons and water safety in Greenwich for more than 100 years.

“We are proud of this partnership with the Abilis Community Foundation,” said Bob DeAngelo, CEO of the YMCA of Greenwich.

“All children deserve access to water safety resources and this investment will provide a great starting point for children and their parents to get comfortable in water while developing a lifelong love of swimming.”
