Cub Scouts don’t miss the 2015 Turkey Shoot at Ernest Thompson Seton Scout Reservation (363 Riversville Rd) on Saturday, November 7th.

Activities include BB shooting, Archery, Slingshots, Hammer Throwing and Engineering Catapults. Boys will also compete to launch the “greatest distance” from our Giant Slingshot! BSA’s policy of “target shooting only” is enforced (that’s right, Turkeys are safe!) and Cub Scouts will learn all about gun safety and proper shooting techniques at each station.

Rain or shine, light refreshments, TURKEY SHOOT activities will take place from 1:00pm – 3:00pm

Adventure, leadership, service and learning, especially in the outdoors, have remained essential to the Greenwich Scouting experience since its inception in 1912. Nearly 1,750 local youth participate in fun programs, like the TURKEY SHOOT, run by 250 dedicated volunteers, all of which help prepare local boys and girls for life. With over 20 partnering organizations and Cub Scouting, Boy Scouting, Venturing and Exploring opportunities in Greenwich, Connecticut, there’s never been a better time to join the Scouting community.
