Don’t forget to move your clocks ahead an hour Saturday night.
Daylight savings time starts at 2:00am on Sunday, March 9th. Though this means everyone in Greenwich loses an hour of sleep, we have Sunday to take a nap. Then Monday morning will be less painful.
The time change is a certain benchmark as we inch toward spring. The long slog through winter and the parade of storms, cancellations and dinged-up bumpers will soon be history.
The next time change will be on Nov. 2, when we turn our clocks back an hour.
It’s all very simple…
…until you need to call someone in another time zone and wake them up.
