Beautiful Sunny Day for the Greenwich Police Dept Scholarship Fund Car Show

By John Kramer

The Greenwich Police Dept Scholarship Fund 2024 Benefit Car Show featured classic, antique, custom, and exotic cars, motorcycles, and vintage fire trucks – all on display for free. The event included a DJ, a 50/50 drawing, and food trucks.

The Greenwich Police Scholarship Fund was incorporated in December of 1962. It was granted tax-exempt status in 1963. That year three scholarships were awarded, which represented 80% of the fund’s available resources at that time. Now over 60 years later, there are approximately 20 applicants each year, supporting both college boarders and half scholarships to college commuters. They must be enrolled as full-time students and maintain an academic GPA of 2.75 or better.
