Renowned Expert on Roses, Stephen Scanniello to Speak in Greenwich

The Riverside Garden Club is proud to present “Roses, Roses, Roses,” a special event featuring renowned rose expert, Stephen Scanniello.

Mr. Scanniello is currently the curator of the Peggy Rockefeller Rose Garden at the New York Botanical Garden, and Rosarian for the National Landmark Elizabeth Park Rose Garden in West Hartford, the oldest public rose garden in America.

He has long been lauded as one of the foremost rose experts in the U.S., having authored books, provided classes, conducted tours and served in judging various rose competitions.

We invite all who are interested in hearing from one of the country’s experts on roses to join the garden club at their next meeting, Tuesday, May 23 at Christ Church, 254 E. Putnam Avenue for this presentation. The meeting starts at 9:30 am with social time followed by our speaker at 10:45 am.
