The Western Middle School Theater Club will perform Disney’s Moana Jr this weekend, with performances on Friday, March 24 at 7:00pm and Saturday, March 25 at 2:00pm and 7:00pm. Tickets are $10.00 for evening performances and $8.00 for the matinee. Tickets will be available at the door.
This coming-of-age story follows the strong-willed Moana as she sets sail across the Pacific to save her village of Motunui and discover the truth about her heritage. Moana Jr is the stage adaptation of the 2016 Disney animated film, Moana.
Moana Jr features all the beloved songs from the film, written by Tony, GRAMMY, Emmy, and Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Lin-Manuel Miranda, Opetaia Foa’i, and Mark Mancina, including “How Far I’ll Go,” “Shiny,” and “You’re Welcome.”
