Singer-Songwriter Caroline Jones is teaming up with Arch Street Teen Center, the nation’s longest-running and privately-funded teen center to host and headline “Arch Street Acoustic,” a contest for local teens. Winners will get a guest performance on Jones’ radio show, Art & Soul on Sirius XM’s Coffee House.
Young people in grades 7-12, living in Fairfield and Westchester counties can enter the contest by submitting a two- to four-minute, live acoustic YouTube video (duos & trios welcome) and promoting their videos through FanDistro Shares.
Jones, who is a singer, songwriter, producer, radio show host and author, will handpick winners of the contest. Four winners will be chosen, including one grand prize winner who will be selected to perform a duet with Caroline Jones, be featured as a guest performer and interviewee on Art & Soul, receive a guided tour of Sirius XM studios in New York and a professional audio and video recording of their performance.
“We’re excited to partner with Caroline Jones, who is committed to providing students with uplifting and inspiring opportunities to express themselves through music,” said Kyle Silver, Executive Director of Arch Street. “This is a unique opportunity for students to showcase their musical talent and be recognized for through this competition.”
“What a great opportunity for young artists in our community to gain performance experience, develop their fan base, and have the possibility to perform with a nationally-recognized singer-songwriter,” said, Micheal Penfield of FanDistro.
