The Second Congregational Church of Greenwich will have an electric and joyful atmosphere on the weekend of November 18 to 20 with over 200 original Haitian paintings & unique handcrafts accompanied by authentic kompa music.
The Church is partnering with the Vassar Haiti Project to present a weekend sale to celebrate Haitian art & culture and to raise funds for Hurricane Matthew relief efforts and ongoing projects in Haiti.
Friday, November 18, 6:30pm – 9:00pm (Opening Reception)
Saturday, November 19, 10:00am – 5:00pm
Sunday, November 20, 9:00am – 2:00pm
For 15 years, the Vassar Haiti Project has partnered with a rural, mountainous village in Haiti called Chermaitre through 5 initiatives: education, medicine, a women’s co-operative, reforestation, and water purification and access.
