Thousands attended The Enchanted Forest at Hyatt of Greenwich over the weekend. Children delighted at the beautifully decorated trees and gingerbread houses, and the level of creativity was tremendous. Among the standouts was a gingerbread house made in the likeness of the The Byram Pool & Park, complete with pool, pool house, and shade umbrellas. The entrant? The Junior League of Greenwich, of course.
As bids poured in for the houses and trees, the schedule of entertainment featured a variety of dancers including clog dancers and ribbon dancers. In the corridors dozens of vendors of handcrafted gifts did a brisk business and guests had a chance to knock a few presents off their holiday shopping list.
