Following the tremendous success of last year’s inaugural Pat Bria Charity Golf Tournament, organizers are once again looking forward to a memorable day of golf, community, and celebration. The tournament will be held at the Griffith E. Harris Golf Course, “the Griff.”
The first tournament welcomed many golfers, along with many additional guests who attended the evening dinner and festivities.
At the 2025 Greenwich High School Football Banquet, Greenwich High School alumnus and one of the captains of the 2022 State Championship football team, Dominic DeLuca, presented scholarships to Colin Falla and Santiago Para, who each received $6,500 in scholarship support.
Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Pat Bria Scholarship Fund, established to honor the legacy of Coach Pat Bria and his lasting impact on the Greenwich community.
Each year, the foundation awards scholarships to graduating high school football players who exemplify dedication, leadership, hard work, and a positive influence on their teammates, school, and community.
“The golf outing was a day filled with laughter and countless stories about Pat, who is deeply missed by so many. It was especially meaningful to have representatives from every GYFL organization there to support the tournament and Pat’s legacy,” said Kelley DeLuca, founder of the Pat Bria Scholarship Fund. “Pat’s family and I are honored to continue hosting this tournament and raising funds for a sport that Pat loved so much and devoted so much of his time and energy to supporting. Coaching and mentoring young athletes was truly his passion, and his impact continues to be felt throughout the community.
The deadline to register for the tournament is June 19, 2026.
Organizers invite everyone to take part in this special day by golfing in the tournament, joining the evening dinner celebration, sponsoring a hole, or simply donating to support the continued growth of the Pat Bria Scholarship Fund. Every contribution helps provide opportunities for deserving student-athletes who embody Pat’s values of dedication, leadership, teamwork, and commitment to their community.
