Greenwich deserves leaders who plan ahead, listen to residents, and deliver results. That’s why I support Rachel Khanna for Selectwoman.
Rachel will be a strong advocate for Greenwich. And she will fight to achieve solutions to some of our most pressing issues: education and traffic-related problems. Her record makes this clear. As our state representative, she brought back over $100 million in state funding for her district— including $20 million to rebuild Central Middle School, $6.5 million for long-overdue traffic improvements along the Glenville corridor, and grants that helped local nonprofits serving seniors, children, and families. When residents raised concerns about crossing safely at the Post Road near the Port Chester line, Rachel didn’t just listen — she secured $450,000 to fix the intersection. That’s what effective, responsive leadership looks like.
Rachel’s public service began here at home. She served on the Parkway School PTA and on the Greenwich RTM before winning a historic election in 2022 as the first Democrat to represent the 149th district in 60 years. Along the way, she has built a reputation for working across the aisle, advocating for early childhood education, supporting all of our civil servants, and making government more accountable.
But Rachel is more than her résumé. She’s a neighbor who has called Greenwich home for 25 years, a mother of four daughters, a small business owner, a volunteer, and even a triathlete. She understands the challenges families face because she has lived them, and she knows the value of strong schools, safe streets, and services that work.
Rachel Khanna brings integrity, energy, and a proven record of getting things done. As Selectwoman, she will ensure our town government is forward-looking, fiscally responsible, and truly responsive to residents.
On Election Day, I urge my fellow Greenwich residents to join me in voting for Rachel Khanna.
