On Wednesday the town of Greenwich announced the launch of a new online platform ClerkXpress (developed by [s]Cube) for dog licensing for town residents.
Effective June 1, 2025, Greenwich residents have the opportunity to manage registration and renewals for their dogs via their smartphones and computers.
“This significant enhancement to our pet licensing process has been months in the making and aims to provide a more convenient and efficient service for our residents,” said Town Clerk, Jacqueline Budkins in a release on Wednesday.
“The new online system is designed to be user-friendly and intuitive, ensuring a smooth experience for all users. In fact, it’s so simple that even your dog could navigate it,” Budkins added. “As a dog parent, I registered my dog from my iPhone. Once registered, renewing your dog’s license or registering for a new license is a breeze – the process is fast and straightforward.”
“I want to thank the Town Clerk, Jackie Budkins, and her great team for establishing a new online dog licensing portal. It’s part of a continuing effort to get more and more things online and save people trips to Town Hall. As a dog lover and owner, I will be using this new, convenient online service,” First Selectman Fred Camillo said in the release.
“We’re very excited to launch ClerkXpress in the Town of Greenwich, as we continue to expand our services and solutions throughout the state of Connecticut,” said Haileab Samuel, CEO of [s]Cube. “This fully automated online platform will make it much easier for residents to register their dogs, renew existing dog licenses and provide efficiency and savings for Greenwich’s Town Clerk Office.”
