Greenwich Town Party to Reschedule in August

On Monday the Greenwich Town Party issued a statement from Ray Rivers, Co-President, Greenwich Town Party saying, “After careful consideration and in close coordination with local health authorities and the First Selectman’s office, it has been decided that the 10th annual Greenwich Town Party will be postponed from Saturday, May 23 to a Saturday in August.”

Rivers said the health, safety and best interests of the Greenwich community, musicians and event partners are the top priority.

“We are communicating with all of our bands to confirm our new date, and we are confident that we will provide an outstanding lineup filled with amazing musicians. We will keep everyone updated as it evolves,” he added.

Once a new date and additional details are available each ticket holder will be contacted and the GTP will announce via social media about how to handle tickets.

If a ticket holder can no longer attend, they will be issued a full refund.

“We thank our loyal community for their patience and understanding as we work on the details of rescheduling the Greenwich Town Party,” Rivers said, adding, “We encourage everyone to support each other and stay safe and healthy.  Come August, we will have an even more important reason to throw a party – not only to share great music, food and fun, but to come together and celebrate our strong and generous community.”
