Greenwich Police: No Injury, No Crime, No Threat to Public Safety at Lake Ave Incident

Greenwich Police emailed local media Thursday afternoon about an incident on lower Lake Avenue earlier in the afternoon.

According to Captain Mark Zuccerella, police responded to a home after a call came in about a resident in the home “acting out towards other residents.”

Due to nature of call, and limited information, Zuccerella said several units responded.

“The roadway was closed due to home being close to roadway, coupled with police cars on side of road,” he said. “The officers on scene thought it best and safest.”

Police say the situation was quickly assessed, and it was determined the resident was having a medical episode causing erratic behavior. He was transported to the hospital.

No one was injured. No crime was committed. There was no threat to public safety.
