Smilow Cancer Hospital Care Center at Greenwich Physicians Make CT ‘Top Doctors’ List

Smilow Cancer Hospital Care Center at Greenwich physicians Barry Boyd, MD, MS, Beverly Drucker, MD, PhD, M. Sung Lee, MD, Bruce McGibbon, MD, Dickerman Hollister, MD, SM, and Daniel Petrylak, MD, are highlighted in the 2021 list of Top Doctors in America by Connecticut Magazine. Published in the magazine’s June issue, the ‘Top Doctors’ list includes physicians nominated by their peers. Drs. Boyd, Drucker, Lee and Hollister are medical oncologist/hematologists, Dr. McGibbon is a radiation oncologist, and Dr. Petrylak specializes in the treatment of urologic cancers, including prostate, bladder, kidney and testicular cancer.

Kortmansky gave special congratulations to Dr. Hollister, who launched his oncology practice in Greenwich in 1981, and has continuously been recognized as a Top Doctor.

Dr. Hollister has announced his retirement this month. 

The Smilow Cancer Hospital Care Center at Greenwich has more than 50 dedicated oncology specialized nurses and staff members to care for patients diagnosed with cancer.

The Center provides medical oncology, hematology, radiation oncology and surgical cancer care, along with clinical trials in collaboration with Yale Cancer Center, Connecticut’s only National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center. Supportive care includes oncology nurse coordinators, social workers, nutritional resources, clinical research staff, palliative care and survivorship planning.
