Greenwich Police Release Memorial Day Traffic Stats

Greenwich Police released Memorial Day holiday weekend traffic stats from Friday, May 26 through Monday, May 29 and compared them to last year’s stats, from May 27-30.

This past weekend, there were 519 Calls for Service, four more than in 2016.

There were a total of 12 motor vehicle accidents (in 2016 there were 16).

For the second year in a row, there were no fatal car accidents.

There were 77 Motor Vehicle Stops, one more then the year before.

There was one DUI arrest, while last year there were none.

There was a total of three arrests, which is the same amount as Memorial Day weekend in 2016.
