The insurrection that interfered with Congress’s certifying Joe Biden as President is repugnant and horrifying.
This orchestrated riot subverts the most fundamental values of our democracy.
We applaud patriots of both parties who have condemned this attempted coup.
And we condemn the inflammatory and seditious language of President Trump who has incited his acolytes to interfere with the free and fair choice of the people to elect our President and Vice President.
