C Parker Gallery to Host Reception for Circle of Care Traveling Photography Exhibit

Circle of Care presents “Life Within The Journey: Beyond the Diagnosis, a Portrait of What Endures.”

On Wednesday, Nov. 18 there will be an opening reception at C. Parker Galley at 17 East Putnam Ave in Greenwich from 7:00pm – 9:00pm, with light refreshments served.

The traveling exhibit features photography by Jeanna Shepard. It is made possible by a generous grant from Morgan Stanley, Price Financial Group and Northwestern Mutual Russo Financial Group. Circle of Care is a non-profit, volunteer driven organization that provides immediate and ongoing support directly to children with cancer and their families from diagnosis through treatment, and beyond.

“This is a very moving and provocative exhibit,” said Jeanna, who hopes members of the community will turn out for the reception at C. Parker Gallery. “See the portraits, and get a feel for how important and amazing Circle of Care is for these families. Some of the families will be there – now 18 months after the portraits were taken.”

Since 2004, Circle of Care has reached 2000 families, delivered 1700 Bags Of Love, transformed 78 rooms with our Art room The Heart room makeover program, and provided over $1,000,000 in financial support to make the journey easier.

Please RSVP for the Nov. 18 reception at C. Parker Gallery, 17 East Putnam Ave. 7-9pm. RSVP to info@thecircleofcare.org
