Lisa Maronian is the Lisa behind “Sweet Lisa’s” Exquisite Cakes. Opening Sweet Lisa’s in 1993, Mrs. Maronian’s business involves three generations of women including Lisa, her mother Phyllis, and daughter, Victoria. Maronian was set to become an accountant until a chance visit to a cousin at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie made her aware of the Culinary Institute of America.
