Why You Should Consider Links Academy Virtual Learning Center As An Option For Your Child

Greenwich Education Group’s Links Academy, a NEASC-accredited and NCAA-approved short and long-term school for students in Grades 6-12, announces its Virtual Learning Center providing synchronous programming for students.

Links Academy Virtual Learning Center will provide the educational support and academic continuity that students require to remain on-track, catch up academically, and accelerate their learning remotely. Since Links Academy is skilled at student-centered support and creating individual academic plans for students, virtual at-home instruction can easily be implemented. If academic instruction is being delivered from a student’s school, Links Academy Virtual Learning Center is also available to provide educational support services for documentation management in tracking a student’s progress and attendance components. This hybrid school model allows for flexibility with a strong emphasis on personalized support and learning.

“While the stress and uncertainty that COVID-19 presents to families are profoundly challenging, Links Academy Virtual Learning Center offers students an engaging opportunity to continue to learn in a highly productive and collaborative environment,” explained Victoria Newman, Founder & President of Greenwich Education Group.

Links Academy Virtual Learning Center can be tailored to a child’s unique needs, including liaising with teachers, special education resources, social-emotional support, and executive function coaching, all done remotely.

The highly experienced team of teachers, tutors, and specialists will check-in with students and parents as it works best for the family, whether daily, weekly, or several times throughout the course of the school day. The program can include, but is not limited to, assessment; counseling; academic skills coaching; test preparation; and tutoring services targeted toward unique learners of all academic abilities and age groups, including those with executive functions challenges, anxiety, learning differences, writing and math challenges, adaptive social skills, language skills, and emotional regulation skills.

“The goal of the Links Academy Virtual Center is to support families who desire a more enhanced and personalized synchronous learning environment. We can create individualized programs tailored to meet each student’s unique learning style through comprehensive assessment, coaching, and tutoring activities that wholly focus on the needs and capabilities of each student,” added Newman.

Since 2003, Greenwich Education Group has been providing students with the exact support needed to achieve academic success. Through several lines of businesses, GEG has been a pioneer in remote learning. Each student receives personal attention, individualized instruction, and an enormous array of resources to help them reach their full academic potential. While the focus has always been on the student, the support and delivery have varied from small groups to one-to-one both in-person and online.
