On Sept 9 Greenwich Police arrested a woman around 8:00pm and charged her with Criminal Trespass 2.
Police responded to 67 Mason Street, a commercial building, on a report of a woman using a shower without permission.
Police say the woman, who provided her address as 1800 Putnam Ave in Greenwich, the address associated with the Hyatt Regency, had been previously asked numerous times by the owner to leave and the business was dark and clearly closed at the time.
Police charged Shawana S Smith, 48 with Criminal Trespass. She was released on a promise to appear in court and has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Sept 23, 2020.
Smith is known to Greenwich Police and was previously arrested for Trespassing at a yoga studio in the area of Greenwich Avenue in Sept 2019.
In March of this year Smith was charged with Larceny 6 and Criminal Mischief 3 after an incident in CVS on Greenwich Ave.
