Prolific Children’s Author Visits ISD

Kate Klise, award winning children’s author of numerous children’s books including the laugh-out loud mysteries Letters from Camp, Trial By Journal and The Regarding series, as well as The 43 Old Cemetery Road series and The Three-Ring Rascals series, visited the International School at Dundee in March. Klise talked with students in kindergarten through fifth grade about her experience and inspirations. She shared behind-the-scenes details about how professional writers organize their ideas to form cohesive and compelling narrative.

The International School at Dundee was authorized in July of 2003 as an official International Baccalaureate school. ISD is one of only 181 IB Primary Years Programme (IBPYP) authorized schools in the US, and one of only a few elementary schools in Connecticut to receive the IBPYP accreditation. ISD offers programs for students from kindergarten through fifth grade.
