Greenwich’s Mackenzie Nocek, a student at Bates College, spent the fall 2014 semester studying abroad in Italy as a participant in the Trinity College program in Rome.
Nocek, a 2012 graduate of Greenwich High School, is a history major at Bates, where about 60 percent of students study abroad in over 80 countries.
Located in Lewiston, Maine, Bates enrolls about 2,000 students from across the US and around the world. Since 1855, Bates has been dedicated to educating the whole person through creative and rigorous scholarship in a collaborative residential community.
