Greenwich Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Toni Jones has appointed Mr. Sean O’Keefe as Chief Operating Officer, effective December 16th.

As Chief Operating Officer, Mr. O’Keefe will provide leadership in many aspects, most notably the District’s operations related to finance and facilities. Prior to accepting this position, Mr. O’Keefe served as the Business Administrator for the Board of Education in Trumbull.

“Our District is excited to welcome Sean to the Greenwich Public Schools administrative team. He is the right candidate for this position given his extensive experience across both the corporate and educational sectors. Beginning in September 2012, Mr. O’Keefe served as Business Administrator for Trumbull’s Board of Education, responsible for all operational and financial areas including their annual budget process, monthly financial performance reviews, payroll and health insurance, purchasing, accounts payable, and management oversight of the district’s transportation, technology, facilities and food services. Prior to his role in educational administration, Mr. O’Keefe held multiple financial and operational roles at IBM, including managing IBM’s multi billion dollar worldwide IT budget and a number of global financial roles in the United States, Asia Pacific and Europe.
