At the last Board of Education Business Meeting, the board voted to set the last day of school for the 2025-2026 school year as Friday, June 19 for grades six and nine, and Monday, June 22 for all students (early release), and Thursday, June 25 for teachers.
The Greenwich High School graduation date will be Thursday, June 18 at 5:00pm. For the outdoor ceremony, seating is on a first come, first served basis. There is also plenty of standing room. Gates will open at 4:00 pm. In the event of inclement weather, there will be two ceremonies inside the Performing Arts Center. More details on graduation here.
Dr. Jones said, as a reminder, in the unlikely event that bad weather forces public schools closed again, the district will once again make changes.
Connecticut state law mandates a minimum of 180 days of actual school sessions per year. An updated calendar revised and approved by the BOE on March 19 can be found on the district’s website.
