On Wednesday, members of Connecticut’s General Assembly presented official citations to Henry Jin and Esther Nabisere, two Greenwich High School seniors, in the school’s front office to recognize their extraordinary successes.

Henry Jin was recently included in the top 300 scholars in the Regeneron Science Talent Search 2026, the nation’s oldest and most prestigious science and math competition for high school seniors. He will be awarded $2,000 with an additional $2,000 being awarded to GHS. His project was entitled: “Bridging the Sim-to-Real Gap in Autonomous Drone Control via Curriculum-Scheduled Domain Randomization.”
Esther Nabisere was recently selected to the prestigious United States Senate Youth Program, a national initiative that brings exceptional student leaders to Washington, D.C., for an intensive study of the federal government. She will also receive a $10,000 undergraduate scholarship funded by The Hearst Foundations.
Esther has led international community service efforts, supported congressional constituent outreach, and contributed to research at the Permanent Mission of Uganda to the United Nations. She is active in civic engagement through the League of Women Voters of Greenwich and plans to continue her studies in public service and constitutional law.
