The suspect had apparently removed the furs from the display and taken them into the dressing room. At this time the items were concealed on the suspect’s person before subsequently exiting the store without paying for any of the merchandise. The suspect had left the store prior to officers’ arrival.

The originating agency was contacted, confirming the warrant as active and reporting that they would extradite the suspect to answer for these charges.

As a result Coleman was additionally charged with 54-170, Fugitive from Justice. Bond for this charge was set at $115,000.00.

Coleman was unable to post these bonds and was transported to Norwalk Superior Court on Monday July 8, 2019 for arraignment.
