Greenwich Woman Caught Shoplifting Expensive Purse and Sweater from Saks

On Sunday afternoon Greenwich Police responded to 205 Greenwich Ave on a report of a larceny.

On scene investigation revealed that the suspect, Angela Bradshaw-Mackblum, 72, of Greenwich, entered Saks and took a cream colored purse worth approximately $3,400 and a blue sweater worth approximately $790 off the display case and placed them into a black Saks Fifth Avenue shopping bag.

When Ms Bradshaw-Mackblum exited the department store without paying for the items she was stopped by the Saks Asset Protection team. She was subsequently arrested by Greenwich Police and charged with Larceny 3.

Bradshaw-Mackblum was able to post the required 7% – $140 – of her $2,000 bond and was released.

She was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on April 8, 2024.
