Trio from Greenwich Face Multiple Charges after Fleeing from Crash on Lancer Rd

Three local young men were arrested on Saturday after a crash on Lancer Road that had social media buzzing over the weekend.

According to Greenwich Police Captain John Slusarz, at about 1:40am on Feb 3, an officer observed a black Mercedes traveling south on Sheephill Road and run a red light on East Putnam Ave.

The driver did not comply with the officer’s attempt to conduct a MV stop, and subsequently crashed on the property at 122 Lancer Rd (off Sheephill Rd).

From there the three occupants exited the car and fled the wreckage.
