On Sunday Dec 16 around midnight Greenwich Police received a tip about a possible intoxicated driver in the parking lot of 510 East Putnam Ave.
When police arrived they found the driver Laudilei Elias, 44, of N High St in Mt Vernon, NY asleep within the vehicle with the car running
Police say Mr. Elias had slurred speech, bloodshot eyes and the odor of alcohol and did not perform field sobriety tests to standard.
He was charged with DUI and was unable to post his $500 bond.
He has a court date on Dec 31, 2018 in Stamford Superior Court.
