Three New Officers Sworn in during Ceremony at Greenwich Police Headquarters

Chief James Heavey proudly introduces the newest members of the Greenwich Police Dept.

Officers Andrew Buzzetta, Amanda Cavaseno, and Chester Indiviglio were sworn in by First Selectman Fred Camillo.

Officer Andrew Buzzetta was a member of the NYPD for the past five years serving in the 115th Precinct. While at the NYPD, he served in Patrol Services and Special Operations. He was recognized by the District Attorney’s Office for his service and effort in several high-profile arrests in Queens and Manhattan.

Officer Amanda Cavaseno comes to the Greenwich Police Dept via the Arlington Police Dept in Arlington, Texas. Officer Cavaseno was a member of Arlington Police Dept for the past three years. In April 2019, she was the Arlington Police Dept Officer of the Month for her self-initiated activity that led to multiple arrests. Officer Cavaseno is also currently a Specialist in the US Army Reserve.

Officer Chester Indiviglio was also a member of the NYPD. He has a distinguished 21-year career of service. Officer Indiviglio served as a Patrol Officer, Detective, and Sergeant while with the NYPD. He received medals for Meritorious Police Duty and Exceptional Police Duty, and received a Commanding Officer Recognition for Outstanding and Dedicated Service.

The Greenwich Police Department is thankful these Officers selected Greenwich Police Dept to continue their careers.

They will now be providing Service, Respect, Courage, Fairness, and Diligence to the residents and visitors of the Town of Greenwich.
