Suspect Charged in Riverside Incident Involving Damaged Cars, Garage Door, Fence, Mailbox

A Virginia woman faces multiple charges in Greenwich that kicked off with an incident in Riverside on Thursday around 2:00am.

Police say they responded to a report of an individual going through vehicles at 60 Club Road. Upon arrival they located a heavily damaged vehicle running in the driveway. Additional damage was observed around the property including a smashed mailbox and post, one vehicle struck and forced into a garage through a closed bay door, a second vehicle forced over a curb line and onto a neighboring property, and a third with damage to its rear end. Police added that tire tracks were observed in the grass on the left side of the residence leading to a smashed wooden fence.

Police say Sabina Nichelle Brandt, 53, of Vienna, VA was found on the property ranting that she was the homeowner and that the people there were squatters and she wanted them gone. On scene investigation revealed that Ms Brandt had active warrants. They noted Ms Brandt had previously been advised not to return to the address and was subsequently arrested for Trespassing first degree, in addition to Criminal Mischief first degree and Failure to Comply with Fingerprint Request.

She was unable to post the 7% cash option of her $100,000 bond and was placed in a holding cell awaiting court appearance in Stamford at 9:00am on March 28, 2024.

Police added that when they responded to the Club Rd address they were advised by dispatch that Ms Brandt had two arrest warrants.

One stemmed from an ongoing investigation of a different incident where the charges were Failure to Comply with Fingerprint Requests, Harassment 2 (17 counts) and Criminal Violation of Retraining Order (17 counts). Bond for those charges was set at $50,000 which she was unable to post.

A second warrant related to another incident where the charges were Failure to Comply with Fingerprint Request, Harassment 2 (5 counts) and Criminal Violation Restraining Order (6 counts). Bond for these charges were $10,000 which she was unable to post.

Court date for these charges related to the arrest warrants was March 15, 2024.
