Greenwich Police Captain Mark Zuccerella announced there was an accident Tuesday morning in front of North Street School.
Zuccerella said there were no injuries as a result of the crash involving a vehicle that collided with the rear of a stopped school bus.
The school bus was on its way to Greenwich High School.
Police reported that while there were no injuries, the crash did cause a traffic jam.
Traffic remained heavy and congested in the area through much of rush hour.
