Port Chester Erratic Driver Answers to Multiple Charges in Greenwich

Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at about 11:00pm, Jorge R. Parra, 51, of 169 Grace Church Street in Port Chester responded to Greenwich Police Headquarters to surrender himself on an active warrant from Greenwich Police.

The warrant stemmed from an incident on Sunday, January 4, 2015 when Parra was reported as an erratic driver on West Putnam Avenue in Greenwich and subsequently failed to stop for Greenwich Police prior to entering Port Chester.

Parra was placed under arrest at Greenwich Police headquarters and was charged with DUI, Failure to Stop When Signaled, Failure to Drive in Proper Lane, Unsafe Lane Change/Failure To Signal Lane Change and Failure To Disengage Signal. Parra was able to post a $10,000 surety bond and was released from custody.

He was assigned a court appearance date Feb. 4, 2015 at Stamford Superior Court.
