Police Investigate a Rash of Thefts from Cars in Cos Cob

The Greenwich Police Department is investigating a rash of thefts from motor vehicles which occurred overnight Sunday (7/15) into early Monday morning (7/16).

A variety of valuables were stolen from cars in Cos Cob.

Sgt. John Thorme of the Community Impact Section said that vehicles were reported to have been left unlocked.

Sgt. Thorme also said that the best way to avoid this kind of theft is to remind people to lock their doors and take their keys with them. Also avoid leaving unattended valuables in vehicles, especially where they are easily seen.
