Police Arrest Man Wanted for Threatening, Breach of Peace in 2017

On July 17 a Norwalk man turned himself in to Greenwich Police on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in court to answer for a charge that dates back two years.

Back on October 7, 2017 Greenwich Police responded to a residence on Hickory Drive in Pemberwick on the report of a disturbance. Investigation revealed that two of the people on scene had threatened numerous people at a party.

Police located Darius Hamlette, now 21, of Wilton Ave in Norwalk, in the area of the residence and arrested him for Threatening 2, Breach of Peace 2 and Possession of Marijuana under 1/2 oz.

He subsequently failed to appear in court and a warrant was issued for his re-arrest.

His bond was set at $5,000 which he was able to post. He was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on July 29,2 019.
