Officer Yolanda Greenhaw Named Greenwich Police Officer of the Month

Congratulations to Greenwich Police Officer Yolanda Greenhaw who has been named officer of the month. According to Chief Heavey, during the late evening of December 3, 2015 a local resident called about a suspicious vehicle with two occupants parked on a residential street. Although the two subject’s stories seemed plausible enough, Officer Greenhaw continued to thoroughly investigate their claims and uncovered an unreported crime involving a juvenile.

The two individuals were subsequently arrested for Risk of Injury to a Minor and Interfering with an Officer.

Officer Greenhaw was commended for her dedication in the performance of her duties. Her actions reflect great credit upon herself, her fellow officers and the Greenwich Police Department and on behalf of the community.
