Multiple Charges for Man Who Engaged Officers in Pursuit onto I95

Greenwich Police arrested a Stamford man by warrant on Saturday for an incident stemming back to November.

Around 2:30am on Nov 30 police say a driver, later identified as Christian Prince, 48, of Blachley Rd in Stamford, was spotted driving erratically in a Ford Mustang in the area of Delavan Ave and Frontage Rd.

When police attempted a motor vehicle stop, they say Prince accelerated onto I-95. Police engaged the driver in pursuit before breaking it off.

Police obtained a warrant and Stamford Police helped out by going to Prince’s residence and taking him into custody.

Mr. Prince was charged with Engaging Police Pursuit, Reckless Driving, Speeding, Failure to Display Plate, Improper Turn and Failure to Drive in Proper Lane.

Prince was able to post his $10,000 bond and has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Jan 6, 2020.
