Elizabeth Wald Kvaale, 56

Elizabeth Wald Kvaale, a resident of Greenwich and native of Rye, passed away December 20, 2019, at age 56.

She was born May 1, 1963 to Arnold & Edith Wald. She was a graduate of Rye High School Class of ’80 and went on to the Eastman School of Music where she continued to cultivate her skills playing the violin. She later received her bachelor’s degree from Ithica College.

An inspiring woman of many talents, Elizabeth pursued various careers. She worked in marketing and advertising as well as selling exhibition space during the time she resided in San Francisco.

Upon her return to NY, Elizabeth was a personal trainer, but her passion was most exemplified through the jewelry line she created, Stones in Harmony. She touched many people through the healing power of the stones from her pieces.

Elizabeth is the beloved wife of Halvard Kvaale and the cherished mother of Emma Kvaale. In addition, she is survived by her dear mother, Edith Wald, loving siblings, Richard, Daniel, David. Lois, Adrienne & Cathy Wald, and faithful furry companions, Andre & Lucy.

To honor Elizabeth’s life, family and friends will gather on Friday 4:00-7:00pm at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 134 Hamilton Avenue Greenwich, 203-869-5968.

Funeral Service on Saturday 10:00am at the funeral home followed by interment at Middle Patent Rural Cemetery.
